The 1st time I made this recipe was like 5 yrs ago. and then i came across Ina Garten's and Martha Stewarts peanut butter and jelly bars but never could get myself to make their recipes because this one is just too good to give up on.and granted their recipes for PBj bars probablly are really really good too, but I promise this recipe is fabulous. Obviously it is, otherwise I would have stopped making it or tried a different one by now. Its real simple, here's the recipe link for the actual recipe, and I also wrote the recipe down below. Oh and you have to use Smucker's seedless jam. its the best. i prefer the strawberry over the grape but either is good!! (BTW, the picture in the middle is of my brother shoving a spoonfull of it in is mouth, right after it came out of the oven. Too impatient to wait for it to be cut into bars.)

I am a huge fan of the big cookies sold at Disney World bakeries. Especially the peanut butter ones because of the giant peanut butter chunks. I asked one of the bakery workers once where they get their cookies and he said Selma's. so I started ordering them off of selmas.com because it was a lot easier than going all the way to Disney World. They were always good-tasting however not as good as the ones at Disney World because the ones at D World were always super fresh, so I always thought "dang, if only i could just either get the recipe or move to Disney world." About a year ago I was browsing online recipe blogs and I ran across cookiemadness.net where Anna (the blog author) is apparently just as crazy about Selma's cookies as i am. She talked about them, but still no recipe. Then just yesterday i ran by her blog again and found a page all about where she replicates the Selma's peanut butter cookies (which are apparently now called Minnie's cookies, but I'm sure they're still made by Selma, but just have a new label.) I tried them, and yes they're almost identical especially the peanut butter ribbons. So once again, here's this recipe: Click HERE

Got this recipe off of the Hershey's site. Here's the link for the RECIPE. Ive been wanting to make these for a long time, ever since i saw it posted on cookie madness. They taste exactly like S'mores/ chocolate chip cookies. I only made one modification. The recipe says "bake 30-35 minutes. I baked them for 25 min. I always underbake(: I really enjoyed these by themselves, but then tried it w/ a scoop of ice cream and glass of milk, which was even better!!
