Best Ice Cream Ever

Cookie Dough Ice Cream!!!!
my 4 favorite ice creams ever are... (1 being my absolute favorite, 2 my second favorite, 3 my 3rd most favorite, 4 my 4th most)
1) Dreyer's fun flavors cookie dough ice cream
2) Maxx Dreyer's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream
3) Maggie Moo's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream (Cake Batter ice cream as the base mized w/ cookie dough pieces and fudge sauce)
4) Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

My favorite dessert ever!!! (As of lately(:) is...
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (any one of the above 3 flavours)
Frozen pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough (ready to bake)
Mini chocolate chips (Nestle or Hersheys)
Into a cup, scoop out 1/2 cup cookie dough ice cream, add 5 small pieces pillsbury cookie dough (or 1 cookie dough square broken up), and add 1 Tablespoon mini chips. With spoon, Mix all ingredients together. Eat and enjoy

Dreyer's Fun Flavors Cookie Dough is absolute very best because its 1st off Dreyers, and also its creamiest, fluffiest, bestest, tons of chocolate mini chips, awesome cookie dough, awesome awesome base ice cream. Maxx cookie dough ice cream is the 2nd best because it uses dreyers ice cream and dreyers ice cream is soooo sooo good!! and it has nestle cookie dough and mini chips which makes for an amazing combo. Also maxx ice cream has extra cookie dough than most (if not all) cookie dough ice creams which is why its called "maxx." reason its not my number 1, its a little airier that fun flavors. Maggi Moos Cookie Dough is 3rd best because the cake batter maggie moos ice cream flavour is so creamy and so good and you can choose your amount of cookie dough and fudge sauce (which is definitly of nice quality) and i always tell them to add"a lot." ben and jerrys in my opinion has the best cookie dough of all the 4 ice creams, which is why its one of my favorites. the cookie dough chunks are huge and taste so good. the reason its not my 1st or 2nd or 3rd favorite though, is because i dont like the ice cream base flavour nor the texure as well. its more icy, whereas dreyers and maggie moos ice cream is a lot more creamy/fluffy/ and sweeter. all in all you cant go wrong w/ any of these flavours. theyre all great

Ashley's chocolate chip cookies

I cant beleive I havent posted this recipe yet. Anyway, this is my chocolate chip cookie recipe that i made when i was only 14 yrs old. A lot of people already have the recipe since ive been giving it to my cousins and friends ever since the day i made it and so many people told me it was the best they've ever had. I posted the recipe on allrecipes.com and its been a huge allrecipes hit ever since. if you like traditional chewy chocolate chip cookies you'll love these. theyre slightly different from the tollhouse chocolate chip cookies, in that they're just a little puffier (not as flat)

Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour (heaping)
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened

Samoas

samoas

Im not A very trendy person, but when it comes to samoas, I definitely cave on that one. Ive already posted samoa bars, but I think I like the cookie even more, maybe cuz its more close to the real thing. So I pulled this recipe off of bakingbites.com but cheated on the cookie base part for 2 reasons. 1: because its easier. and 2: because it tastes more like the real "factory made" girl scout cookies. So anyway, I made these tonight. My mom and I loved them. We think it'd be a cool treat to bring to a party. You can half the whole caramel/coconut mixture if you want. Thats what I did. We didnt feel a need to samoatize every fudge striped cookie cuz we only wanted a few samoas and besides, the fudge striped cookies are also definitly good the way they are.

CopyKat Samoas Recipe
3 cups sweetened coconut flakes
1 12 oz (or 14oz) pkg caramels
3 T milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pkg keebler's fudge shop Fudge Stripes Cookies
12 oz. dark or semisweet chocolate chips

Spread coconut evenly on a baking sheet and toast in 300 degree oven 10-15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, till coconut is lightly golden. Cool on baking sheet, stirring occasionally. Set aside. Unwrap the caramels and place in a large microwave-safe bowl with milk and salt. Cook on high for 3-4 minutes, stopping to stir a few times to help the caramel melt. When smooth, fold in toasted coconut with a spatula.Using a small offset spatula, spread topping on cookies, using about 3-4 tsp per cookie. Reheat caramel for a few seconds in the microwave if it gets too firm to work with. Place 1/2 of chocolate chips in ziplock bag and microwave 60 seconds. Take bag out of microwave ever 20 sec. and massage chocolate chips in bag to help them melt evenly. As soon as chocolate is smooth and melted (not burned), snip tiny corner off bottom side of ziplock and drizzle chocolate over the coconut topped cookies. Chill cookies in refrigerator till set and store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Rice Pudding

Ive been on this total rice kick lately don't know why, but i just crave it. rice pudding, rice drink (horchata), rice cereal (rice w/ milk and sugar (and a spoon). I just love it. So i made some "uncle Bens" mix rice pudding tonight and i got like one bite and then my dad scarfed down all the rest so my mom and i didnt get any so we made homemade rice pudding and it was even better. the best we've ever had. My mom liked it so much that she posted it on her blog too

Creamy Rice Pudding
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup cream
1/3 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In medium saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in cream, beaten egg and corn starch. Horchata

This recipe calls for milk, but if your vegan, you can use almond milk instead, or just use all water, or soy milk, or whatever. recipe is very forgiving. I love to drink this plain. Its also really good poured over cereal.
Horchata

Put 1-1/3 cups uncooked rice in blender. add 2 cups milk. puree 20 sec. then add an additional 3 cups milk. puree 30 more sec. Let soak in refrigerator over night. Next day once again puree mixture 20 more sec. then add 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon, 1 T vanilla, 3/4 cup half and half, and 1 c sugar and puree 20 more sec. Pour into pitcher.
To serve: (rice sinks to bottom of pitcher so always stir horchata before serving) After stirring serve it to people over crushed ice in individual cups. I never strain it. My family likes it unstrained and so do all my latin co workers. (i know adding milk and cream and stuff isnt very traditional. its just how ive always prefered it)

Auntie Anne's Pretzels Copy Recipe

Its already February 12th & i havent posted anything till now. i'm so blog lame. i have a good excuse though.. our oven broke about 1 1/2 weeks ago so it was impossible to bake anything. it broke right after i made some homemade pretzels that turned out very well actually. my dough didnt raise very high but the pretzels stilll were dang good so i know its a good recipe and proven very forgiving.

Auntie Anne Copy Recipe
3/4 cup warm milk
3/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups regular flour
1 cup Warm water
1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda
to taste coarse salt
4 tablespoons butter (melted)

Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm milk in mixing bowl; stir to dissolve. Add sugar, salt and stir to dissolve; add flour and knead dough until smooth and elastic. Let rise at least 45 minutes. While dough is rising, prepare a baking soda water bath with 1 cup warm water and 1 1/2 Tbsp baking soda. Be certain to stir often. After dough has risen, pinch off bits of dough and roll into a long rope* (about 1/2 inch or less thick) and shape. Dip pretzel in soda solution and place on greased baking sheet. Allow pretzels to rise again. Bake in 400 oven for about 8 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter and enjoy! Toppings: after you brush with butter try sprinkling with coarse salt. or for Auntie Anne's famous Cinnamon Sugar, try melting a stick of butter in a shallow bowl (big enough to fit the entire pretzel) and in another shallow bowl make a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Dip the pretzel into the butter, coating both sides generously. Then dip again into the cinnamon mixture. Enjoy! * The longer and thinner you can make the dough rope, the more like Auntie Anne's they will be. I wasnt in the mood for a sweet pretzel so I made some mustard/mayo dip (Stir 1/4 cup mayo with 1/2 cup mustard... and Just like that youve got.. MAYO MUSTARD DIP)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cookies

My Very Most favorite Recipe Site EVER is picky-palate.com. All of the recipes are kid/adult friendly, and the way she bakes everything is the same way i'd want my stuff to turn out. Ive always been wanting to make her Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cookies. They have those little chocolate chip Cookie Dough Bites in them, which I absolutelty love and I also love cookie dough, so I was pretty positive I'd like these cookies. I changed the recipe just a tad. I used Crisco instead of butter and more cookie dough bites and omitted the chocolate chips but still basically the same recipe. The way I did it is written below! (Click HERE for the original recipe).

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cookies
1 cup butter flavored Crisco
¾ Cup brown sugar
¾ Cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt
2 ¾ Cup flour
3 6 oz boxes Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

1. Preheat oven to 350 or 375 degrees F. In a stand or electric mixer, cream the Crisco and sugars until well combined. Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed. Gradually add flour along with the cookie dough bites until well combined.
2. With a cookie scoop, scoop onto baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until cooked to your liking. I usually take mine out right at 9 minutes for a softer cookie.
