  1. Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog last week. (I'm a little slow to respond. I suppose Christmas is a good reason to be late!) Hope yours was great.
Just answering your question about the Levain copycat recipes. No one knows Levains true recipe. (I WISH!) The one I like best that I linked to at Lisa Michele's blog, I think, is the closest to tasting the most like the real thing.
    Happy New Year!

  2. Huh, I just looked at hers and i think your right. Those look pretty dang close. Theres just so many out there and they're all so similar. mine are kind of different cuz i always use Crisco (dont know why, i just like the taste, but i can see why other people prefer butter instead, aside from the fact that thats probabaly what the real levain recipe calls for) and i think if your using butter for the Levain recipe, you have to use more flour (3 1/2 cups), but if your using Crisco you need to use a little less flour (more like 3 cups). anyway, happy new years to you too!!!!!

  3. Bacon, cheese and eggs? What's not to love?? How yummy! Thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. Oh thankyou Bridgett. Ive always really liked your blog. Hopefuly one day, i'll have almost as many cool posts as you do
